How it works

A shaped piece of fabric is positioned on the garment and secured with a decorative edge stitch, such as satin, zigzag or blanket stitch.

Typical uses

Varsity letters, large logos and textured graphics on sweatshirts, hoodies, jackets and childrenswear.

Production considerations

Fabric compatibility, edge finish, shrinkage of both fabrics, placement and wash performance should be approved before bulk production.

Quality starts before production

Relevant fabrics, trims, artwork, print or embroidery requirements and other value-added processes are reviewed against approved product requirements before bulk manufacturing begins.
