How it works

An inkjet printer applies water-based ink directly onto the garment. There is no screen set-up, so unlimited colours, gradients and photographic detail can be printed.

Typical uses

Detailed or photographic graphics, multi-colour artwork, samples and smaller runs on T-shirts, sweatshirts and cotton-rich garments.

Production considerations

Works best on cotton and cotton-rich fabrics. Dark garments need pretreatment and a white base layer. Colour accuracy, print resolution, curing and wash performance should be approved before bulk production.

Quality starts before production

Relevant fabrics, trims, artwork, print or embroidery requirements and other value-added processes are reviewed against approved product requirements before bulk manufacturing begins.
