How it works

A screen-printed puff ink containing a foaming agent expands under heat during curing, lifting the print above the fabric surface to create a raised, slightly textured finish.

Typical uses

Logos, lettering and bold graphics on hoodies, sweatshirts and T-shirts.

Production considerations

Fine lines and small details can close up as the ink expands, so artwork is adjusted for line thickness and spacing. Print height, fabric compatibility, curing temperature and wash performance are confirmed on the approved sample.

Quality starts before production

Relevant fabrics, trims, artwork, print or embroidery requirements and other value-added processes are reviewed against approved product requirements before bulk manufacturing begins.
