What is it?
Single jersey is a lightweight knitted fabric with a smooth face and a characteristic knit structure on the reverse. It can be produced in many fibre compositions and weights.
Weights and colours
We work with single jersey from 150 gsm to 250 gsm. Stock colours are available, alongside custom dyeing for specific colour requirements.
Typical uses
T-shirts, tops, lightweight dresses, underwear and selected nightwear.
Production considerations
Weight, width, spirality, shrinkage, colour consistency and dimensional stability should be checked according to the product requirement.
Quality starts before production
Relevant fabrics, trims, artwork, print or embroidery requirements and other value-added processes are reviewed against approved product requirements before bulk manufacturing begins.
