What is it?
TENCEL™ Lyocell is a branded lyocell fibre used in many apparel fabrics and blends. It is commonly selected for fluid drape, softness and comfort.
Typical uses
Dresses, tops, blouses, T-shirts, leggings and lightweight garments.
Common weights
Knitted lyocell jerseys are typically 140–220 gsm. Woven lyocell fabrics usually range from 100 gsm for light shirting to around 250 gsm for twills and heavier bottoms.
Production considerations
Fabric structure, shrinkage, colour performance, dimensional stability and care requirements should be assessed during development.
Quality starts before production
Relevant fabrics, trims, artwork, print or embroidery requirements and other value-added processes are reviewed against approved product requirements before bulk manufacturing begins.
