Transfer printing

The artwork is printed onto a carrier film and applied to the garment with a heat press under controlled temperature, pressure and time. Suitable for detailed multi-colour graphics, numbers and logos.

Flock printing

Fine fibres are bonded onto an adhesive print to give a raised, velvety texture. Often used for varsity lettering, numbers and logos.

Foil printing

A metallic or holographic foil is heat-pressed onto an adhesive print for a reflective gold, silver or coloured finish.

Production considerations

Fabric heat sensitivity, adhesion, stretch, wash performance and the approved hand feel should be confirmed before bulk production.

Quality starts before production

Relevant fabrics, trims, artwork, print or embroidery requirements and other value-added processes are reviewed against approved product requirements before bulk manufacturing begins.
